Who we are

This website and North Star Agency OS are operated by North Star Consulting. This policy covers information collected through our website, inquiry and messaging consent forms, booking tools, and Agency OS.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, business name if supplied, optional phone number, and message. We also store the date and time, the form page, your separate messaging choices, and the exact consent wording and policy version. A one-way hash of the requesting IP address is used for abuse prevention; hosting providers may separately process technical request logs.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to review and respond to requests, discuss services, maintain records of messaging choices, and protect the form from misuse. Service-related texts require a separate opt-in. Providing a phone number or submitting an inquiry alone does not authorize text messages.

Google user data and Agency OS

If an authorized Agency OS user chooses to connect a Google account, we may receive basic account information such as the user’s name and email address, along with the Google Calendar information necessary to provide the features the user enables. Depending on the permissions granted, this may include calendar lists, availability, and calendar event details.

We use Google user data only to authenticate the connected user, display authorized availability, synchronize appointments, and create, read, or update calendar events requested through Agency OS. Google account connection is optional. We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence models, or permit humans to read it except when necessary for security, support requested by the user, legal compliance, or operation of the requested feature.

We may share Google user data only with service providers acting on our behalf when necessary to operate Agency OS, maintain security, or provide a feature the user requests. These providers may not use the data for their own advertising or unrelated purposes. North Star Agency OS’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Mobile information and consent

We do not sell or share mobile information or text-message opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers may process information solely to deliver our authorized communications and support the service. They receive no independent permission to market to you.

Service providers and booking

Website hosting and database providers process submitted information to operate this site. Our calendar is provided through Base44. When you use that calendar, information you enter is processed in the booking system. This website’s consent form does not automatically change your preferences in a separate booking system. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which may receive technical request information.

Your choices

The SMS checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. We may send up to 3 messages per month about inquiries, appointments, reminders, and requested services. Message and data rates may apply. Once receiving texts, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. You can also email info@northstarconsulting.us or use our contact form to request help, withdrawal of consent, access, correction, or deletion. We honor clear opt-out requests made through reasonable means and do not require use of a single specific method. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Agency OS users can disconnect Google Calendar within the app when that control is available and can revoke North Star Agency OS access at any time through their Google Account’s third-party connection settings. Users may also contact us to request deletion of stored Google user data and connection credentials, subject to legal or security retention requirements.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry and consent records as needed to handle your request, document messaging permissions, and meet applicable obligations. Google connection credentials and synchronized data are retained only while needed to operate authorized Agency OS features or meet applicable security and legal obligations. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers, and reasonable safeguards are used to protect stored credentials and data. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Other disclosures

We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security, or legal claims. These disclosures do not authorize third-party marketing use of mobile information or messaging consent. We do not sell personal information collected through this inquiry form.
